Bad Bob's was a client I came across in my freelance work. They had products, but needed a visual to back them up. The products were a BBQ sauce and BBQ seasoning. There was a vague idea of the direction they wanted to go in, but they were new to anything like this and leaned heavily on me for input and direction. I worked with them every step of the way, making sure they were happy with the 3D mockups of their products and that they approved of the stock video and music.

THE CHALLENGE
Bad Bob's was a freelance client in need of an animation for their YouTube channel. They wanted it to feature their products, a BBQ sauce and seasoning. They had a logo, but needed that animated too.
THE SOLUTION
The client did not have professional photos of their products, but they did provide me with images of the labels. I used Blender to make 3D models of a seasoning bottle and a sauce bottle. From there, I created textures for each that would go inside of the glass and act as the sauce and seasoning respectively. Finally, the labels were wrapped around the models and the text was placed on the same plane but pushed back in 3D space. I then brought them into After Effects and worked on the final animation. I added textural overlays, high-quality stock video of BBQ food, and a punchy rock soundtrack. Using the static logo file the client provided, I used Illustrator to make an animation-ready file and made a simple logo animation in After Effects to add to the beginning.
